TERMS OF SERVICE

By requesting an audit or hiring our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Independent Service Provider

Horizon Maps Boost (HMB) is an independent consultancy. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google LLC. "Google," "Google Maps," and "Google Business Profile" are trademarks of Google LLC.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.

3. Scope of Services

HMB provides optimization, auditing, and management services for Google Business Profiles.

We use industry-leading Local SEO strategies. However:

We cannot guarantee specific rankings or a fixed position in the "Local Pack", as Google's search algorithms are proprietary and subject to change

Local SEO improvements typically take 30–90 days to show measurable impact

We do not guarantee increases in calls, traffic, or conversions

What we DO provide:

Professional optimization based on current Google best practices

Transparent reporting on profile performance

Regular content updates and monitoring (for monthly plans)

4. Service Deliverables

Free GBP Audit (Standard or Deep):

Delivered within 24–48 hours of request

Report sent via email with specific opportunities and recommendations

One-Time Setup (USD 158):

Full profile reconfiguration (NAP, categories, attributes)

Initial photo package (4 high-quality images with optimized metadata)

2 activation posts

Local SEO roadmap with spreadsheet templates

Review foundation and clean review link setup

Completion timeline: 5–7 business days

Monthly Plans (Essential, Dynamic, Premium):

Content delivered according to plan specifications

No long-term commitment; cancel anytime with 15 days' notice

Created content remains published after cancellation

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate business information (NAP data)

Grant temporary "Manager" access to your Google Business Profile for Deep Audits and Setup services

Revoke our Manager access once the audit or service is complete (unless you have an active monthly plan)

Respond to requests for information within 5 business days

Ensure you own or have rights to use any images, logos, or content you provide

6. Payment Terms

Free Audits: Provided at no cost with no obligation to purchase.

One-Time Setup (USD 158):

Payment required upfront via PayPal

Non-refundable once work has commenced, due to the digital nature of the work and hours allocated to optimization

Full refund available if you cancel before work begins

Monthly Plans:

Billed every 30 days

Cancel anytime with 15 days' written notice

No refunds for partial months

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Content we create for you:

Photos, posts, and written content belong to you upon payment

We retain the right to showcase work samples (anonymized) in our portfolio

Your content:

You retain ownership of all materials you provide

You grant us a license to use provided materials solely for delivering your services

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

HMB is not responsible for any profile suspensions, ranking drops, or account terminations caused by:

Prior violations of Google's Terms of Service by you or third parties

Changes to Google's algorithms or policies

Actions taken by competitors or malicious actors

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for services in the 12 months prior to the claim

9. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel:

Monthly plans anytime with 15 days' written notice

One-time Setup before work begins (full refund)

We may terminate services if:

You violate these Terms

You provide false or misleading information

Your Google account is suspended or terminated

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the laws of Pereira, Colombia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
